Abstract
Virus-like particles (VLPs) are dynamic protein cages most notably used as drug, vaccine, and small molecule carriers. Our aim was to repurpose a VLP to trap a small molecule from the environment it is introduced in and keep it entrapped, thus acting as a molecular filter.
