Abstract
The topic of Current Practices in Public School Adult Guidance Services bas been selected because of the author's awareness or the values of guidance services and the absence of these services in an organized manner in bis school division.
The five purposes ot this introduction are as follows: (1) to Present evidence which suggests the need for public school adult guidance services, (2) to acquaint the reader with previous studies and information on the subject, (3) to show that information is needed on this topic, (4) to present the plan and the procedures of the thesis, and (5) to make a presentation of the subject matter of the remaining chapters.
