Intersectional InQUEERies

Submission Guidelines

Intersectional InQUEERies accepts undergraduate student works from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds and echoes the interdisciplinary nature of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. We accept nonfiction, written-for-class, or research papers, creative writing works, short films, and artwork or photographs. The word/space limits for each of these categories are as follows:

  • Nonfiction, class, and research papers: 1,500 words minimum, 4,500 maximum
  • Creative writing works: no minimum, 4,500 words maximum Short films: no minimum, 15 minutes maximum
  • Art, photographs, or graphic works: 200 KB minimum, 1,000 KB maximum

Note: These minimums and maximums are flexible and up to the discretion of the Editorial board. If you have a paper under 1,500 words or a short film longer than 15 minutes, please give it a try and we will do our best to consider it.

We will accept all citation styles in the submission process, but the authors and artists may be asked to shift styles after selection.

The deadline to submit to our journal is XX/XX/2022 by midnight.
