Title
Utility Solar In Spotsylvania: How Perceptions of Scale Influence Attitudes about Sustainable Energy
Abstract
The shiny black panels stand in long rows, occasionally emitting a low hum as their motorized mounts adjust their aspect to follow the sun as it tracks across the clear Virginia sky. Implacable sentinels of a brighter future for energy, it is hard to imagine these parade grounds of clean power as catalysts for the conflict between those who see them as a way forward, and those who will simply have to see them every day.
