Destinations and Conversations is intended to be a series of dialogs where faculty and staff can talk about current events through the lens of their disciplines and experience. It is by nature an interdisciplinary series of conversations. In this I hope we create not only a historical record of the times we live in, but give voices to all the members who help create the University environment, who fashion the liberal arts experience, and hold the space to make this community of higher education possible. These talks cover a wide range of thought and scholarship. Along with being Interdisciplinary by nature, it is also educational. I would hope members of the greater Richmond Community could watch and listen to these conversations and learn a great deal from them. This is a series of conversations to promote learning and to generate more needed conversations outside the recorded conversations. Originally initiated as part of course requirements for the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, English 202U 01: Critical Research and Writing Methods II, this is an endeavor now open to all. Welcome.
