Select Your Next System with High-tech Tools
Abstract
The Year 2000 problem is driving accounting and financial management software purchases at an unparalleled pace, but managers who do not make the software selection decision carefully may choose programs that take care of the Year 2000 issue yet fail to address their business information needs. Even if you are planning to choose one of the low-end packages, you should seek some help with your decision. Of the many tools available today, spreadsheets and other decision-support tools provide a structure for judging variables and alternatives. There are also specific accounting and software evaluation tools that include databases of popular accounting software products.
