Abstract

The Bankruptcy Code is title i 1 of the United States Code. It was written in the i 970's by people who were experts in bankruptcy law for people who are experts in bankruptcy law. It was not "user friendly" when it was enacted in 1978. And, amendments through the yearsespecially the 2005 amendments3-have made the various sections of the Bankruptcy Code even more difficult for law students to read and understand. This book emphasizes those sections of the Bankruptcy Code that your professor emphasizes. And, we make those sections more accessible (law prof talk for "easier") by deleting stuff that is not important, providing a context, and, from time to time, providing hints.
