Abstract
Les perceptions françaises de la technologie racontées à travers le temps avec Jacques Tati, Agnès Varda, JR et Michel Serres (French Perceptions of Technology Told Through Time with Jacques Tati, Agnès Varda, JR et Michel Serres), explores the relationship between technology and society as depicted in French cinema. By analyzing the works of filmmakers Jacques Tati, Agnès Varda, and JR, the thesis examines how these directors themselves have portrayed the impact of technology on French culture and society over time. in the end, Michel Serres helps explain the changes of perception over time by comparing the works of the three directors.
