Abstract
Schizophrenia can have both positive (psychotic behavior) and negative (abnormal emotion and behavior) symptoms. Positive symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, thought disorders, and movement disorders. Negative symptoms include a flat affect (reduction in emotional expressiveness), reduced pleasure, and a difficulty sustaining previous activities.
