Light Induced Modulation of Absorp tion, or LIMA, was discovered by E.J. Conway in cadmium sulfide in 1967 It holds promise as a non destructive test for material defect analysis. In 1969, R. W. Major began studying LIMA in zinc selenide. This paper is an extension of his research and findings.
