Abstract
The curriculum at the University of Richmond's Jepson School of Leadership Studies draws upon the liberal arts to advance the understanding of leadership and the challenges of ethical and effective engagement in society. We examine leadership questions using a diverse set of disciplinary lenses, weave the study of ethics throughout the curriculum, and emphasize that leadership is contextual: leaders operate within a complex set of culturally determined norms.
