James H. Barnett Jr., attended T.C. Williams School of Law from where he graduated at the head of his class in 1917. Mr. Barnett went on to become the Secretary/Administrator of the Evening Law School program in 1922. Even though not technically a Dean, James Barnett did most of the administrative work, was a full time member of the faculty and the Secretary of the Law School until his retirement in 1968.
