Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine to what extent mobility of pupils at the elementary school level affects their academic achievement. Is there correlation between the number of moves and retardation in academic achievement?
It has boon the opinion of the teachers and administrators of the Quantico Post Elementary School that the pupils who are forced to transfer so frequently are handicapped by the many changes. They have found it necessary at all grade levels to do a great deal of individual work as they have found these pupils to be very retarded in specific skills and fundamentals.
