Abstract
Within the last few years there has been a great deal of interest in giving aid to children who are reading below their grade level. Various :methods and techniques designed to raise the reading level of children have been tried and tested. According to recent studies, some of these methods have brought about greater achievement on the part of students with reading difficulties. The purpose of this study is to compare the achievement of' students from two selected school systems in tho Georgia Summer Reading Program, 1965.
